Trac Localization Guides are not clear

Hi,

I have setup Trac on multiple servers and they work well now. I have a problem, which is, I can not get the language option work out.

I'm following the guide ​http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracInstall and as I could understand, language options would work out of the box. The guide underlines "you must first install Babel", but I can not determine if Babel is first installed because I installed trac via apt-get since I'm on Ubuntu Server. Lacking the ability of tracing the language setting problem may better be fixed.

So, could anyone give any hints which make me determine the problem?

This is an InstallationIssue, please ask on the MailingList and / or IrcChannel.

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The ticket will remain with no owner.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from (none) to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
