Description

During Life testing of the Flash Lamp Bulb a Flash Lamp failure (open circuit during flash or explosion of the failed Bulb) the IGBT transistor would fail and on occasion cause damage to associated ckt components of the unit. Need to determine cause and solution to prevent any circuit damage due to Flash Lamp Bulb failure. The solution needs to be implemented on next layout of PCB design.
