You can see item1 and item2 are already indented. That is waste of space and I don't want that. Both must be placed at column 0 of the page, please!

Why wasting space? Borg would say "Space is irrelevant. Will be assimilated."

That's pretty easy to do with a custom style.css. Most users seem to like it as-is, as you're the first one to suggest such a change.
