New ticket svn field

Hello,

Is it possible to add Drop-down select box (one or more) to new ticket tab, which could list SVN repo content (folders and files)? Similar like Component Drop-down select box.

Could you please describe in some more detail what the use for this select box would be?

Hi,

This select box would describe exactly on which part (file, or folder,revision) of SVN repo are users opening tickets. Not just open ticket based on components select box which is filled manually by trac admin. I tried to resolve this problem with ticket-custom field (textarea) where trac users copied url of source files (for example /browser/trac_how_to.txt?rev=88 ) But our developers didn't like this solution.

You could add a custom field with this content. If you want the selected entry to appear in the ticket header as a link to the repository, then a custom plugin would be in order.

A custom text field of type wiki could even be better in this case.

Well, that wouldn't provide an interactive selector, but that's maybe too much of a specialized use case for being considered here.
