    It's worth noting that starting with 1.4.0, there's now pre-built bindings for Python-2.4.
    Actually with 1.4.4, you have one installer for each version of Python (2.3, 2.4 and 2.5).
+ - On the various BSDs use ports or pkgsrc to install Subversion complete with Python bindings. For FreeBSD see `make config` in `/usr/ports/devel/subversion` or use `/usr/ports/devel/subversion-python`. For pkgsrc use the `devel/py*-subversion` package for getting the bindings.
