    507 Apache supports LDAP authentication with mod_auth_ldap_.  You can use this in place of the other authenticate methods used in the installation guides.
     507Apache supports LDAP authentication with mod_auth_ldap_.  You can use this in place of the other authenticate methods used in the installation guides.  It may be easier, however, depending on your installation, to use mod_auth_pam with Apache and configure PAM to use LDAP for authentication.
