Though… I was going to say: "great link, thanks!". It could be enlightening to see how easy/hard it is for a ugly one to create a spam bot that goes past our SpamFilter ("Built in support for automatic CAPTCHA solving" sounds scary…).
Is there a free evaluation version of UBot? ;-)
