in the upper right corner of a ticket in the detail view, you can see something like that

Opened 1 month ago
Last modified 4 weeks ago

if the ticket has a milestone and the milestone has a schedule date, this schedule date could also be printed in this area, e.g.

Opened 1 month ago
Last modified 4 weeks ago
Due in 6 days (31.12.2007)

This is a good candidate for a plugin (along with more complex ticket deadline tools). -1 for core.

I agree with comment:1. I would not clutter the ticket view any more than it is already (by default).
