Description

It would be really cool to be able to see new comments in the timeline (or at least be able to configure it).

You already can do this. ticket_show_details = true allows comments to show up in the timeline, and abbreviated_messages = true toggles whether the comment is completely shown, or only partially shown.

this doesn't work for me (11.1) new comments don't show in timeline unless they close a ticket confirm?

tested changing properties, since maybe that was the desired behavior for ticket_show_details, but nothing in timeline

Status: reopened → closed

Feature works fine. If there is a problem it is something on your end. Make sure you have the "Ticket Details" source checked on the timeline page.

ah, for some reason the timeline setting wasn't getting inherited from the base config properly, works

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain Christian Boos.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
to The owner will be changed from Christian Boos to the specified user.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
