it is an important feature which people should get to know immediately when test-editing. including it promotes not the plugin, but trac itself.

Important to you perhaps, but not for the people who use this site (read: Trac developers). This is not the place to promote Trac, in fact we don't need to promote it at all. One of those great things about FOSS is that it is a meritocracy, good software gets used because it is good, not because it is well advertised.
