Remove left toolbar because it's almost not findable

Description
The toolbar for "Home", "Download", etc. on the left has the following problems:
- The color is light gray on a slightly darker gray. This obviously and predictable bad choice causes the read flow to go from top to down and then wondering where the button of this toolbars can be found.
- The fact that the buttons are only on the left and that there's a symmetric space with the same color and size on the right makes it almost impossible to spot the links. It seems like they should be hidden.
It should be moved to a "visible" place.

Agreed that the Edgewall theme could use a rework. The templates are attached to #9629 and patches would be welcomed. However, I doubt any of the developers will find time to address this in the near future.
