Trac Install

Note: This is a rewrite of TracInstall for Trac 0.11.

Dependencies

Mandatory Packages

• SetupTools - at least version 0.6c3 ​download
• Genshi ​0.4 - Template Engine ​download
  

Optional Packages

• Pygments ​0.7.1 - Syntax Highlighter ​download
• ​pytz - World Timezone Definitions

Upgrading from Trac 0.10

A database change is now required, so it is no longer safe to switch from 0.11 to 0.10.

The Trac macros will need to be adapted, as the old-style wiki-macros are not supported anymore (due to the drop of ClearSilver and the HDF); they need to be converted to the new-style macros.

Beware: milestone:0.11 still says it is save to switch between 0.10.4 an 0.11dev
