Description
The images for styling (eg bold) do not display when windows is set to high contrast mode.
This is due to internet explorer ignoring background images when set to high contrast mode.

Using background images for icons seems to be a common idiom in Trac (timeline icons, external links, browser directory expanders, …). I wonder why this is so, as opposed to <img>
tags?
Maybe an IE-specific CSS attribute can be set to force the background images to be shown even in high-contrast mode.
