Description
I've queried http://trac.edgewall.org/query?status=assigned&status=new&status=reopened&summary=~interface&order=priority now for "interface", "css" and I am not seeing any related tickets.
[imho=ON] This has been bugging me for a while. Trac's UI is so antiquated it hurts. So I've been thinking something like this http://wpthemes.jayj.dk/japibas/ and actually have a somewhat implemented ThemeEnginePlugin (screenshot attached, patch to follow). This idea came from seeing this originally Wordpress theme ported to a now-deceased Python blog engine Zine (Pocoo!).
Ignore the colorscheme for now (should be user-customizable anyway), but decent looking tabs, search box and human-readable font-size, please!
I think it is time to make an effort to get Trac UI from 2004 into 2011. This could easily be a step by step thing, as it's only the header that demands attention first and foremost. So 0.13 should be quite achievable.
