Google Chrome Updates on Mac

Description

When a user logs in a pop up message states: ""You do not have permission to update Google Chrome"

When the pop up is acknowledged it sometimes pops up over and over again.

Cannot stop or should not prevent Chrome from updating. Created a plist (preference file) for Chrome from examples from Google and pushed down through Munki. Users continue to get the pop up message.

Possible solution: login script to remove the google update function

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as new The owner will remain somebody.
as The resolution will be set. Next status will be 'closed'.
to The owner will be changed from somebody to the specified user. Next status will be 'assigned'.
The owner will be changed from somebody to anonymous. Next status will be 'accepted'.

Add Comment

E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences.
