Installing Trac on SuSE Linux

Warning: always read the generic TracInstall instructions first.

Trac and several plugins are available from the ​openSUSE build service.

• Select your distribution version and architecture of the build service and add the URL to your repository list.

• Install setuptools and trac using your package manager of choice (yast/rug/zypper)

• If you're new to the openSUSE build Service, read ​this guide.

Note: On OpenSuSE 10.3, the software installation tool "zypper" does not know about a package called 'setuptools'. You will have to download it and install it by hand.
