 Trac unterstützt ab Version 0.12 die Lokalisierung seiner Inhalte in verschiedenen Sprachen kombiniert mit landestypischen Formaten z.B. für Zahlen, Datums- und Zeitangaben sowie Währungen. Dies wird mit [b:wiki Babel], einer ebenfalls in Python geschriebenen Sammlung von Übersetzungswerkzeugen, erreicht.
