No sounds in Adium

I have Adium 1.0.1 and had it just stop making sounds one day. I checked everything from preferences in Adium, sound preferences in OS X, etc., and everything checked out ok (and every other program makes sound through my internal speakers). I tried changing soundsets to no avail. I haven't altered my Adium settings for weeks, and all of a sudden Adium alert sounds stopped playing.

Also, when I tried to register an account, I got this message:
